Frequently Asked Questions:
What do the different tiers mean?
Different tiers help us communicate and differentiate the quality of different products.
Tier 1:
Top selection, usually the grower's pick of the flowers with the best genetic expression in our environment.
The most dense, trichome-rich flower with the most desirable expression of color and aroma.
Tier 2:
Grown in the same conditions as Tier 1, with good color, aroma, and structure. This flower is still considered premium and exceeds our expectations but does not stand out as much as our tier 1.
Tier 3:
Grown in the same conditions as Tier 1 and Tier 2, with the lesser pronounced features including color, aroma, and structure. This flower is still considered of good quality.
Tier 4:
Flower that is not produced in indoor, hydroponic conditions (ie: greenhouse, outdoor) or white label. Offerings from Tier 4 white label partners can still exceed tier 2 and sometimes tier 1 quality depending on the source. Growing conditions are specified for tier 4 batches.
What growing conditions are you specifically utilizing?
Polyflora focuses on indoor, hydroponically grown products. Products are grown in coco-coir and utilize the Athena Blended fertilizer line (unless otherwise specified).
Indoor cultivation offers better control over environmental factors like temperature, humidity, and light, leading to more consistent and reliable plant growth. It minimizes exposure to pests, diseases, and weather-related challenges, reducing the need for pesticides and chemical treatments. Additionally, indoor cultivation uses space efficiently, allowing for year-round production and reducing water usage compared to traditional outdoor farming.
Coco coir is an environmentally friendly, renewable resource made from coconut husks, offering a sustainable alternative to peat moss. It conserves water by retaining moisture and reduces waste by repurposing coconut byproducts. Additionally, it enhances plant growth by improving soil aeration and nutrient retention, all without harmful chemicals.
The Athena Blended line are high-performance nutrients designed for efficient plant growth. These fertilizers are formulated to deliver essential macronutrients and micronutrients, promoting healthy, robust plants while minimizing environmental impact. Their precise blends support optimal nutrient uptake, reducing waste and ensuring better crop yields with sustainable practices.
